Description
Borella is a lightly raced 4yo gelding by Pierro from Elusive Quality mare Princess Quality. This gelding has proven form in metropolitan racing in Melbourne with a 3rd, 4th and 5th placing at his three most recent starts at Caulfield and Sandown. From just 11 race starts he has won a 1400m Pakenham maiden and a 1700m BM64 at Sale and has placed in three other races.
Borella has proven form over a variety of distances ranging from 1200m to 2400m and handles both good and soft tracks.
He is by the exciting young stallion Pierro who has already produced G1 ATC Derby winner Levendi, G1 VRC Oaks winner Pinot and rising star Arcadia Queen, winner of last week's Group 1 Kingston Town Classic.
