Amerissa was moved from the Darren Weir stable in her 2nd preparation to Tony McEvoy. Tony has always been complementary of the horse, but unfortunately she has not emulated the same form as she did early on in her career.
Amerissa is only 2 runs into this preparation and is ready to continue racing. Tony claims her last start 4th (24th July) was very unlucky, missing the start and getting blocked. She is fit and ready to continue racing this preparation.
Unfortunately two members of the syndicate want to sell, and offering the mare now gives the new purchaser an opportunity to keep racing her for themselves or get her ready for an early breeding season.
The mare's half brother Savoie is group 2 placed (MV Vase, 2nd), listed placed (Flem UCI Stakes, 3rd) and a city winner (Flem Derby Trial).
