Explicitly is a very fast, well built 4yo with city ability. Initially purchased for $150,000 as a yearling with a very attractive pedigree out of an excellently performed WA mare. This son of Champion sire Snitzel showed a stack of ability early and competed in the Maribyrnong Trial as an immature 2 yo and performed well in the Listed (Queen Elizabeth Stakes) Race in Adelaide.
During Explicitly's most recent campaign he ran the fastest last 400m first up at Sandown, which tightened him up nicely for his second race, in which he Won in BM 78 grade. In that race he beat Spirit of Aquada, who was beaten 1/2 a head by Bandipur, who recently sold for $260,000.
Currently has 23 starts for 3 Wins, 3 Seconds, 4 Thirds.
There is good upside to this horse, he is sound, fully matured and he has won on dry or wet tracks and is to be aimed at winning in City grade.
The Owner was looking for a Stallion prospect and hence the decision to sell the share.
