Description
Rare opportunity to secure one of only 48 mares currently in foal to Kermadec who's progeny have sold up to $520,000 with an average $95,000 this year and have found their way into leading stables.
Kermadec had only 43 live foals in 2018 to be put through the upcoming sales and is sure to be well supported this upcoming season. Needing no introduction, Kermadec was multiple G1 winner who took out the Doncaster at 3 and went on to be an open age performer at 4 in winning the George Main stakes massing over $2.9 million in prizemoney.
Phoenix Sunrise has a sought after pedigree being well related to blue hen mare Comical Smile who is the dam of Smart Missile and Kiss From a Rose.
The Dam of Comical Smile is none other than Explosive who is the dam of Northern meteor who is the sire of sires in Zoustar standing for $154,000 in 2019
Her dam, Muzareta is a half Sister to G3 placed and G1 performed Fight and defend. Her half Sister, Cristalina Lago sold for $82,500 at the 2016 Magic Millions broodmare sale who has a Hinchinbrook colt on the ground and is in currently in foal again so plenty of upside to come through for this family.
The Pedigree is also linked with Shawnee girl who is the dam of recent multiple city winner Sure Knee a winner of over $270k.
Big strong mare who has just had the one foal who was an outstanding type and is being readied for the upcoming 2020 yearling sales.
She is fertile, easy to do anything with and would be a welcome addition to any commercial broodmare band.
