DECLARATION OF WAR mare for sale in foal to Winning Rupert
Layercake is currently residing at Glastonbury Farm and her last date of service (Positive 15 days and due for 30 scan on Friday 8th November) is 10/10/19 to exciting young stallion Winning Rupert (Newgate Farm).
This mare is being sold to reduce numbers and is also being sold with a free return to Winning Rupert if the pregnancy is unsuccessful.
Layercake (2015) is easy to handle, breed and do anything with. The mare has good quality, good bone and a nice head. She is leggy (16HH) and has plenty of room for a nice size foal.
Layercake is a half sister to stakes winner Secret Status and comes from a prolific stakes winning Australian family. Many of the mares in this family are being bred to nice stallions.
