Description
***Strong athletic 2 year old from a black type running family ***
Unbroken, ready for breaking and can go straight into training.
She has scope, excellent confirmation, a lot of HIGH CHAPPARAL coming through in her type.
Well made with a free moving walk, she has strong clean legs with good bone.
A nice style of a filly, currently stand 15.2, in great condition, good temperament and easy to catch, farrier, float etc.
Dan Line: She is from a black type family with her dam BASALE being by Group 3 winner HULA WONDER and half to the Kris Lees trained Group 3 winning SUGAR BELLA ($275k prize money), Group 3 placed WILLY JIMMY ($330k prize money) and Hula Here, dam of SACRED HUSTLER and SACRED MISSILE. A commercial pedigree that will have residual breeding value post her racing career.
Sire Line: She is from the first crop of foals by FREE EAGLE, the Royal Ascot Group 1 winning son of HIGH CHAPARRAL and who rated the equal of WINX on his retirement to stud. He is bred on the same cross as FRANKEL and TEOFILO.
As a yearling we knew she was going to mature into a good racing proposition and needed time to grow into herself. She has absolutely done this and is so ready in her mind and her body to go straight into training.
At Cottage Hill Stud we are happy to hold onto our foals to give them time to mature. This is our way of investing in our mares to give them every chance of producing winning offspring.
