Highly compatible breeding package, ideal for the breed-to-race investor
A successful 2YO metro winner, Regal Gleam is being offered with a Cable Bay filly at foot and is back in foal to Cable Bay. 27 individual 2YO winners in his first crop and titled Champion First Season Sire in the UK and IRE for black type horses and prizemoney, Cable Bay is set to reach great heights as a stallion.
Regal Gleam is now a half sister to Uni TIme who posted black type success in WA this season. Due to have an early September foal, this package is an ideal opportunity to breed and race the progeny knowing the mare was approved compatiable to Cable Bay by Black Caviar's breeder Rick Jamieson.
A very well put together foal, very much in the mold of Cable Bay - medium size with great hip and hindquarters set with a short back, the ideal sprinting type. Medium bone in her cannons with correct knees and fetlocks this filly presents as a sharp, precocious type set for the racetrack in the early 2YO races of 2021. The foal's front legs have been straight forward to manage and she has been trimmed every four weeks.
At times this mare can be hard to catch in the paddock but once caught she is a very sweet mare to do anything with. The foal has be very straight and has coped well with the initial stages of handling. This foal has not been weaned.
