Description
A compact early looking type by exciting young sire EPAULETTE.
When interviewed recently by TDN, leading breeder Ollie Tate identified EPAULETTE as a young stallion flying under the radar, saying:
“EPAULETTE is a very good stallion and I think he is under-valued by the market and continually gets high quality Saturday winners and stakes horses”.
With 3 crops racing, EPAULETTE has 6.1% stakes winners to runners, ranking him behind only two stallions currently standing in Australia - EXCEED AND EXCEL and I AM INVINCIBLE. This places him ahead of luminaries such as ZOUSTAR, SNITZEL, SO YOU THINK, SEBRING etc.
This athletic filly is a half-sister to 4 winners including Group 3 placed HARRIER JET (DANE SHADOW) who is the winner of 5 races and over $1M in Sydney and Hong Kong, SWEET LITTLE LIES (ELUSIVE QUALITY) a metropolitan winner and 4th in Listed Blue Diamond Prelude, metropolitan winner of 2 races JAVA JACK (CANNY LAD) and winner of 3 races and metro placed KARTINI (CANNY LAD).
This filly's half-sister, SWEET LITTLE LIES, is the dam of Stakes placed and four time winner TELL ME (CHOISIR) and metro winner of 3 races TUNERO (TEOFILO). KARTINI, also a half sister, is the dam of 3 times winner and metro placed ELEGANT ELLEN (CASINO PRINCE).
