Description
RAQAS is offered for sale in foal to NORTHERN METEOR son EUROZONE. Standing at Newgate Farm, this young stallion had his first crop of yearlings go through the ring this year, catching the eye of many leading trainers and achieving great results from his modest service fee of $12,500. His top lot was purchased by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for $210,000.
EUROZONE was an undefeated 2yo and a Group 2 winner of the Stan Fox Stakes where he conquered CRITERION. He finished ahead of Horse of the Year DISSIDENT in the Listed Rosebud Stakes and Cox Plate Winner SHAMUS AWARD in the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes.
A great producer, RAQAS has had 4 foals to race for 4 winners, including COMBAT DANCER (by WAR PASS (USA)) and FROG HOLLOW (by STRATEGIC). This mare produces a lovely type, as evident by her EUROZONE weanling and I AM INVINCIBLE 2yo pictured. She is very easy to handle and straight forward to breed.
