Description
Eldrick started well for Alicia Willick's stables at the end of last year running a convincing 3rd in his trial and followed this up with a strong 4th place on his debut at the Gold Coast. Unfortunately he stumbled at the start of his 2nd outing and did not recover. Xrays show that he has a bone chip in the carpal bone (report attached). Although Eldrick showed great promise his owners did not want to pursue surgery and have decided to move Eldrick on.
Eldrick's half sister Perfect Pause (5yo mare by Domesday) has won a total of $179, 280. Currently racing in the Northern Territory she has won her last 2 starts, with a total of 14 wins, 5 seconds and 3 thirds.
Half brother What’s Up Charlie (4 yo gelding by My Boy Charlie (IRE)) is now racing in NZ. He won his first start convincingly by leading all the way!
Eldrick is Whatyouwaitingfor’s 3rd foal and is very likely to follow the family tradition of winning!!
He has been rested for 6 months and shows now signs of lameness. He is a big horse and would make a great dressage or hack as well.
