Opportunity has presented for the purchase of a stallion prospect in HI WORLD, by High Chaparral and from a fabulous stakes producing mare in Beauty World.
We have just retired 5yo colt HI WORLD (High Chaparral x Beauty World).
His career stats are $338,125 19 starts for 4 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds.
He was the winner of the Group 3 AJC Carbine Club Stakes & the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate in April 2015 and looked destined for a brilliant career.
He resumed in the Spring with a fabulous 5th to Boban in the Gr 1 Memsie beaten just 1.55 lengths being extremely close to that brilliant galloper on weights…59 v 58.5kg.
He then was beaten just 2.15 lengths in the Gr 1 Makybe Diva won by another brilliant galloper in Fawkner again being extremely close to him on weights…again 59 v 58.5kg.
Then he was beaten just 2.65 lengths in the Gr 1 Underwood won by Mourinho close at the weights again 59 v 58.
Certainly no favours for a 4yo on the up just out of their 3yo year with the weights at WFA that time of year.
He then went to the Gr 1 Toorak Hcp and the track was like a road….he chipped a joint that required surgery and time off.
That really started a chain of events that has seen minor little drama’s pop up along the way and we’ve pretty much been on the wrong leg since.
He moved from Peter Moody to Lee Freedman during this period at the end of March 2016 when Pete closed his stable….and our timings etc with the horse have been a bit off ever since.
Lee had him flying this time in ran super first up at the Valley….
Hi World as you would realise is out of the “gun” broodmare BEAUTY WORLD. She has been a star at stud producing good horse after good horse all the way through….
