Description
Cool Baby is a lovely young mare that is well related and has eye catching, flashy good looks. A strapping style of horse, Cool Baby has strength, size, balance and scope, standing over plenty of ground. A beautiful deep, rich copper chestnut colour with a white blaze she is certainly a stand out in both the mounting yard and paddock.
Type is one thing but Cool Baby also boasts a pedigree to match her physical attributes. Her dam Be Cool is a five time winning Grosvenor mare who also placed at Listed level on three occasions. Be Cool has produced 6 foals to race for 4 winners including the stakes winner and three-quarter relation to Cool Baby, Zupacool. Cool Snitzel, a full sibling to Cool Baby was also a multiple winner and recently sold through auction for $140,000 as a breeding prospect.
A pedigree with plenty of depth on both sides of the page, Cool Baby is by the hottest stallion in the country at present in recently crowned Champion sire Snitzel. 2017 saw him produce 29 winners of 36 worldwide Group & Listed Races, featuring a stunning sequence of four new Group 1 winners within 17 days during the Autumn. Not surprisingly his progeny are sought after in the sale ring and breeding barn alike.
Cool Baby is being offered as a breeding prospect due to the fact that she has been found to have a slightly deformed epiglottis. There is certainly still racing potential with her for prospective buyers who wish to do so, however would probably require a throat procedure in order to reach her full potential.
