FUNLOVE is an eye catching mare that is clean, healthy and sound.
Exceptionally well conformed she was not only a cracking racehorse in her own right but has a pedigree drenched in black type runners.
FUNLOVE finished her racing career with over $250,000 in prizemoney from her 3 wins and 8 places. She was a listed winner and placed in Group Two company.
Her sire Shovhog is by Danehill. He was one of the top juveniles of his generation winning an 1100m event at Rosehill Gardens on debut, finishing second in the Golden Slipper, Blue Diamond Prelude and Kembla Grange Classic. Lightly-raced as a 3YO, he still won at Rosehill twice before taking the G2 Brian Crowley Stakes at Randwick by six lengths.
Dam Avonells had 6 foals, 4 to race, all winners. Grand dam Hayley’s Hope(NZ) won 11 races from 1200 – 2000m, including the Group Three Prime Minister Cup. She was the dam of 11 foals, 9 to race for 7 winners.
