CHOSEN TO FLY is a stallion that possesses all of the attributes that are sought after by breeders and trainers alike. Natural speed and precocity as a juvenile with the constitution, strength and temperament to train on as an older horse, as well as stunning good looks that would rival any other stallion standing at stud.
CHOSEN TO FLY' sire is the ground breaking international raider CHOISIR. Australasian Top Colt on The 2001/02 Classifications, in the same year he was also crowned Champion Australian 2YO colt. He then went on to add Champion Older Male Sprinter in GB for 2003 to his resume. CHOISIR is now also a leading sire of sires with international performers STARSPANGLEDBANNER and OLYMPIC GLORY, who like CHOSEN TO FLY, are now also standing at stud in Australia.
CHOSEN TO FLY is out of Butterfly Kisses who hails from a truly international stakes winning family that includes horses of the caliber of LEGAL AGENT, CALHOUN, MR INNOCENT, VERDICT DECLARED and TERROR FORCE.
A high quality and versatile racehorse himself, CHOSEN TO FLY was a two time winning 2YO. He claimed 3 victories apiece during his 3YO and 4YO seasons and in the latter was stakes performed on 2 occasions. He then trained on to place 2nd in the Listed MVRC Carlyon Stakes as a 6YO.
