Description
Rich Hugs is a 2yo filly by Hinchinbrook from Ruggles who is by General Nediym. Ruggles is a multiple metropolitan winner of 12 races and $139,000 in prizemoney and has already produced three individual winners from five foals of racing age. This filly is from a half-sister to Group 2 Premiere Stakes winner German Chocolate and is also from the family of stakes winners Daunting Lad and Magic Cape.
Hinchinbrook is an excellent sire of fillies, with the likes of Whispering Brook, Samara Dancer, Seabrook, Flippant, Spright and Flying Jess all by this impressive young stallion.
Rich Hugs was the impressive winner of her only barrier trial at Hawkesbury on 19th March, 2018 (replay attached). This filly is being offered as a racing prospect but requires arthroscopic surgery to remove small bone fragments from her left knee, with a good prognosis for racing upon the completion of this surgery.
