Description
KUIPER is a young up and coming stayer with loads of potential.
Kuiper broke his maiden last start at Ipswich in a $20,000 midweek city-class event, over 2150 metres with Jim Byrne aboard. He’s a lightly raced 4yo with just 7 starts, including two 3rd’s at his previous two outings (Gold Coast and Doomben).
Kuiper still races very greenly and we think he may improve going the other way like Melbourne tracks. Plus, there are more races that will benefit his racing style and accommodate his distance requirements and may also settle him. He’s been sent for a spell, which will no doubt allow him to mature a little more.
His prior runs over the distance are also very encouraging, he’s looking for more ground and could also make a good hurdler. Does everything right.
Kuiper is by consistent bread-and-butter stallion Dubleo, out of a Tiger Hill mare. It’s the same family as Eremein, Peace Force and Gliding.
