Description
A lovely filly, she is by the dual Gr.1 winner Giant's Steps, the only son of the seven times Gr.1 winner Giant's Causeway at stud in Australia.
A super sire of 195 stakes winners, Giant's Causeway is an internationally recognised high class sire of sires with 46 of his sons siring stakes winners; 14 of them Gr.1 winners.
Her dam is the lightly raced Consensus who was in the thick of things filling placings at all four of her runs. She has already been represented by two winners whilst her 4Y0 son has his hoof firmly on the till!
Consensus is a daughter of the justifiably popular Gr.3 Missile Stakes winner Commands, the ever reliable member of the Eight Carat clan who maintained an impressive winners-to-runners strike rate in excess of 72% throughout his career; 80 of his sons and daughters being stakes winners.
And he has done the job as a broodmare sire too, his daughters already producing 29 stakes winners, four of whom are Gr.1 winners including this year's Champagne Stakes winner Captivant.
A half-sister to the city winners Anecdote and Espousal, Consensus is out of the Quest For Fame mare Proclaim whose dam is the dual Gr.1 winner Flitter - also ancestress of the stakes winners Jessy Belle, Ringerdingding and Shalwa.
