Early Service to Sun of a Gun, Supido.
Hot Witness is a lovely type of mare, she was a $140,000 yearling and is out of a Desert Sun mare, just like Black Caviar. She hails from a fast and precocious sprinting family. A half sister to an Inglis Banner place getter and from the family of several sharp two year old stakes performers.
Hot Witness also has a yearling by one of the hottest sale ring sires, Written By to be sold next year. During the 2022 sales season, Written By’s first crop yearlings sold up to $410,000 and averaged an impressive $169,000 at the major yearling sales!
She is being sold in foal to the hot young sire, Supido on an early September service. Supido was an exceptionally fast racehorse, the fast son of champion Sebring. He was an elite straight track specialist just like champion sires Fastnet Rock, Exceed And Excel & Northern Meteor.
Supido has started his stud career in great fashion. The sire of 10 winners from limited opportunity, including the stakes winning and Group One placed, BUENOS NOCHES who looks a superb sprinting talent, the stakes placed Kosta’s Crown and the hugely impressive debut winner What You Need, who is held in the highest regard by the Price Kent team and being aimed at the Group Ones in the Autumn.
