Crocodile Rock is a 7yo bay gelding by the phenomenal European stallion Galileo, whose progeny include champion racehorses such as Frankel, Highland Reel, Churchill and New Approach.
This impeccably bred European import is out of a Champion Irish Sprinting Danehill Dancer mare, Aleagueoftheirown. Crocodile Rock is a brother to four winners. Most notably the multiple G1 winning filly Alice Springs, as well as three Stakes placed performers who include the G2 Lingfield Oaks Trial runner-up, Criteria.
To date the gelding has had just the 10 starts, winning on 3 occasions and placed a further 4 times.
Since arriving in Australia, Crocodile Rock has performed exceptionally well, winning twice at City level over staying distances as well as finishing 2nd to the G1 Melbourne Cup winner Almandin in a Stakes race at Flemington over 2500m.
Crocodile Rock last ran on the 11th August 2018 at Flemington, finishing 6th.
