Atypical impeccably bred import from the Hudson Conway draft.
Foundry (IRE) started his racing career as a 2yo with a very impressive 5.5 length win at Leopardstown over 1400m. His two consecutive starts included finishing 2nd in a Gr.2 at York then running 5th in the legendary Gr.1 St Ledger by only 3.4 lengths.
His most notable win was outstaying his rivals to take out the 2017 Gr.1 Metropolitan at Randwick defeating BIG DUKE, with multiple Group placings at elite level against quality fields.
