River Heroine has two important claims to fame, one of which is that her grand dam is Royal Heroine an out and out champion who was the US race mare of the year 1984.
With that attribute River Heroine was specifically bred to clone the Champion Japanese star stayer Meisho Dato who was by Bigstone out of an Affirmed mare.
Her half-sister Pushy Dancer is the dam of a Karrakatta stakes winner in Perth.
An old fashioned pedigree but great bloodlines.
