Description
10% share available in 2YO stakes placed filly Boomstress (by Spirit of Boom) in the Darryl Hansen stable.
Boomstress has only had 3 starts to date with $47,900 in prizemoney. She won easily on debut at the Sunshine Coast on 2 December 2018 over 1000m in very fast time.
At only her second start, she finished a close 2nd to Better Reflection in the listed Calaway Gal over 1100m. If not for the poor barrier, given even luck she would have probably won that race.
Shen then went to the Gold Coast on 5 January over 1100m where she ran 7th to Exhilirates who was the ultimate winner of the Gold Coast 2yo magic millions on 12 January.
Boomstress is currently spelling for a few weeks and will be back in training mid to late February for her next campaign.
Given she is stakes placed as a 2yo, she now has outstanding residual value as a broodmare. This can only be enhanced throughout her future racing career.
Please note, her full brother was recently sold at the Gold Coast Magic Millions sale for $220,000. If he can perform equal to or better than Boomstress, this will also enhance her broodmare residual value.
