BANDJIN RAIN – Is he one of the Best Maidens in NSW?
That question is answered by perceptions.
For the current owners its looking up the equine definition of the word “frustration” and you will be taken to the form pages of BANDJIN RAIN the 5YO Gelding by Hinchinbrook ex Rain Special.
Raced by one of the best syndicates of lady owners we have ever been associated with, their love for their horse can only go so far and simply, the frustration he has caused them outweighs the shouts and loyal support they have given, cheering their boy home but alas he simply seems not to listen.
From 13 race starts he has run 5 Seconds, 2 Thirds, 1 Fourth.
3 starts ago, we are still scratching our heads how the protest we fired in when he was knocked down in the straight to run second was dismissed – as they say “That’s Racing.”
The straw that broke the camel’s back was last start when finishing 3rd after three (3) Runner-up cheques in a row!
He’s certainly been a heart-breaker. Always starting short in the market, backing him each-way the ladies are certainly not finding the punting aspects of ownership making them wealthy.
Most of the ladies in the ownership have already re-invested into other horses so the time has come to let Bandjin Rain find a new ownership team.
You only have to look at his form to see that he does race well but sadly for these ladies, still has the easiest race available to him – His Maiden. Sure he has been the victim of bad luck, poor barriers or less than perfect rides. However frustrating, annoying, disappointing are words to equally describe him as are consistent and honest.
Horsemen and Horsewomen know with formlines like these, there are wins to be had however our ownership team is based in the metro area and want to go racing in the city. They are unable to follow him where he has been racing so the time has come to say good-bye!
As with all Dynamic Syndications managed horses that we sell through the Inglis online sales, they are offered for Unreserved Sale and are on the market from the opening bid.
