Here is an opportunity to buy a fit and sound three year old filly by Starspangledbanner, who ran 4th in a Flemington Group 3 race earlier in the year.
CALIFORNIA HONEY has shown outstanding potential as a juvenile, producing a peak performance in the autumn when running fourth to subsequent Group 1 Thousand Guineas winner FLIT in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes.
After a trial win to start her spring campaign she ran second in a maiden first up in September, but failed to re-capture her autumn form in three subsequent spring runs and her owners are now willing to offer her for sale.
California Honey is presently spelling and is in fantastic condition. She is ready to race on through her three year old season – she is sure to break her maiden and win further races for her new owners before embarking on what will no doubt be a successful broodmare career with a Group race 4th place already on the page.
