Description
An exceptional opportunity to purchase a mare from one of the best performing and most current families in the studbook. Soft Dollar is a half sister to the talented filly FLIRTINI who is not only a stakes winner but recently proved herself highly competitive in the G1 Winterbottom Stakes finishing just behind Trekking and rated as one of the best finishers in the race. Soft Dollar is also a half to the black type performed TRUSON and Sunshine Full Life. She is from the family of Dig a Pony, and is herself a winner.
This is a family that consistently produces winners that perform competitively at the highest levels. It is the close family of ANY HUMOUR, ARTIE SCHILLER, BUDDY GOT EVEN. Each of the last three generations has produced stakes winners at the highest levels.
Soft Dollar is a correct bay mare as can be seen from the photos. She will be a strong quality addition to any broodmare band.
She has a yearling colt by Bobby’s Kitten who is entered in Book 1 of the Adelaide Magic Millions and is a correct type. She is currently in foal to Artie Schiller to produce a three quarter to Flirtini. Her breeder (me) has persisted with sending her to notoriously fussy stallions ( No Nay Never in his first season when his fertility was 64%; Artie Schiller the same year at 67.1% and last year at 63.4%) because I have been committed to getting the cross. This year the word has been that Artie is a lot more settled and persistence has been rewarded. She is in foal on a 5th October cover.
My reason for selling this mare is to decrease the ever increasing number of mares and racehorses I either own or have a significant interest in.
