Description
Miss Severina is a beautiful style of mare by Foxwedge (Fastnet Rock).
She is a two-time winning half-sister to the Peter and Paul Snowden trained “Brave Song” (Your Song), who is a winner of multiple stakes races including the Moreton Cup, Gr.2, Doomben, 1200m and the W J Healy Stakes. Gr.3, Eagle Farm, 1200m.
Miss Severina has already produced a ¾ sister to Brave Song this season, which is being retained by the breeder. She has been tested back in foal to Your Song again, making your resulting foal next year, another ¾ sibling to Brave Song.
Miss Severina’s 2nd dam is the outstanding Queensland Oaks and Derby winner “Bravery” whose broodmare daughters have a phenomenal record at stud, having also produced the multiple stakes winner “Noire” (Foxwedge), who is a close relation to Miss Severina.
Miss Severina is a young mare with massive upside and represents a great opportunity to tap into this wonderful family that is littered with black type.
