Description
The 2 time stakes placed Osamu- an impeccable physical specimen who at the time was the highest priced yearling ever sold by his champion sire Exceed & Excel- selling for $1.7 Million at Inglis Easter. Not just good looking, Osamu has always shown that he has potential of the highest level on the racecourse.
He was gelded after his last start and we have no doubt that will be the making of him as a serious top level racehorse. Now fully recovered from the procedure and back in full training, it will not be long at all until Osamu is winning in his new owners colours.
A consistent performer at the top of the grades, Osamu was Group 2 placed as a 2YO running 2nd in ATC Skyline Stakes as a 2yo beating home stakes winner Aim.
Osamu also ran second in Listed Gothic Stakes at Caulfield as a 3yo.
Osamu ran 4th behind leading 3yo sprinter Wild Ruler in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes and was 4th beaten under 2 lengths behind the same horse in the Listed Heritage Stakes.
At his first start back of his most recent preparation he ran second to The Face at Royal Randwick.
