Description
Group 2 placegetter and 2 Group 1 appearances in her first 4 race starts!
An extrememly promising racetrack performer in the making with an enviable record already to her name, Wolves ran within 2 lengths of the very impressive filly Dosh on debut in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview. She backed that performance up at her next start running 3rd in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude for fillies behind arguably two of the best fillies of this crop in Arcaded and Scorched Earth, with the latter subsequently going on to be a stakes winner herself.
At only her third and fourth starts Wolves completed in the Group 1 Blue Diamond and Group 1 VRC Sires Produce respectively, finishing within 5 lenghts of the winner on both occasions. A remarkable performance for any juvenile in their first racing preparation and display of the ability this filly possesses with an eye on future racetrack performance.
Wolves is a granddaughter of Street Cry and out of the Grand Lodge mare Grand Manners making her a three-quarter relation to Group 3 placegetter and 4 time winner Lalla Rookh, as well as a half sister to the 6 time winner and Group 2 Adelaide Cup runner up Waratone.
Due to the location of the horse and time constraints around the sale the Vendor was unable to arrange a breeding soundness report prior to the sale. Interested parties are certainly encouraged to arrange an examination themselves if they would like to and all inspections are welcome.
