Description
SWING VOTE is a high quality and commercial mare being offered in foal to STREET BOSS, currently one of the most commercial sires in the land.
The mare herself was an above average race filly, and precocious as well, a stakes placed juvenile. One debut she was an impressive winner recording a slick 57.64 over 1000m. More impressively however was how she defeated Twilight Royale, who had already won the Inglis Nursery and went on to score at Group Two level. On only her second race start she finished 3rd behind MIRACLE OF LIFE in the Blue Diamond Preview, and of course Miracles Of Life went on to win the Blue Diamond itself. Swing Vote was no doubt a very smart two-year-old. She has also made a fast start to her broodmare career, with two runners for two winners.
Her first foal, by Smart Missile was a $160,000 Easter yearling who has gone on to win three times and will no doubt be off to the breeding barn to be bred to some of the more commercial stallions available. Her next live foal, by Sebring was a winner earlier this year and is another filly working for the pedigree. Her third foal, a colt by sire sensation, I Am Invincible, was knocked down to Anthony Cummings at this years Inglis Easter sale for $350,000 and judging by his physique and pedigree, expect him to be an early two-year-old type.
Being offered in foal to STREET BOSS, this gives someone the outstanding opportunity to produce a three quarter in blood to a champion! RAPPER DRAGON was crowned Horse Of The Year & champion middle distance horse in Hong Kong for the 2016/17 season. Before that, he has also shown top class form in Australia when finishing 2nd in the Group One Champagne Stakes as a two-year-old. Street Boss is a top 20 leading sire in Australia, and an elite sire of juveniles, as shown with his son ANAMOE finishing an eye catching 2nd in the Golden Slipper before a stunning victory in the Group One Sires Produce. Street Boss continues to have a tremendous record in the yearling sales ring with progeny selling for $350,000 $260,000 $210,000 etc this year.
Street Boss will stand at an advertised fee of $55,000 in 2021.
