From the Success Express broodmare producing sire line, from a winning Giant's Causeway mare whose dam by Flying Spur won the Mannerism and the Sunline Stakes.
LOVE YOU LUCY sat 3 wide without cover and WON the prestigious SILK STOCKING STAKES LISTED beating Fiesta, Krone, Mutaja, etc. and backed it up 2 starts later with a courageous WIN, after the jockey lost his irons when they were caught in the barrier blanket on jumping, and all from the outside gate, in the 1400M GROUP 2 WFA DANE RIPPER STAKES beating Fiesta, Irithea, Krone, Outback Barbie etc. She then followed with an incredibly unlucky 4th with top weight of 58.5 kg in the LISTED BRIGHT SHADOW STAKES.
Was quoted as the 'star' of the 2020 Brisbane Winter Carnival.
LOVE YOU LUCY was placed a total of 14 times (winning 8) from her first 19 starts, before a spell, but thereafter did not reclaim her previous form.
