This a beautiful mare by world-class sire Deep Impact, who is the sire of 175 career stakes winners and will inevitably go on to become an influential broodmare sire. Japanese star Kiseki is amongst the high-class horses produced from his daughters already.
Miss Japan is out of high-class G1-winning US mare Miss World, who is in turn out of a mare by wonderful stallion Kingmambo. It's the family of G1 Golden Slipper winner Miss Finland.
Miss Japan broke her maiden over 1600m at Wyong last August and was just starting to mature into herself before suffering a tendon injury. She is a rehab or broodmare prospect.
Miss Japan is a good looking mare, with good size and scope. She is attractive and athletic. She looks the sort with the capacity to breed good-looking stock
