Description
TASTEBUD is a metropolitan winning daughter of Hinchinbrook. She broke her maiden at Randwick Kensington in December 2020, with the first two pulling 5 lengths clear of the rest of the field.
She went close to winning when first-up this preparation at Gosford, only finishing 0.93 of a length back from the winner. She then finished fourth at Warwick Farm, proving she’s more than capable of still being competitive in city grade despite disappointing at Canterbury (a track she’s underperformed at twice) and Kensington (she’d come to the end of her preparation) since.
She’s a lovely, big mare with a wonderful temperament who will continue being competitive in a lesser jurisdiction and who also has the potential to be a lovely broodmare prospect.
