Description
An incredible opportunity to purchase a half-sister to stakes winning, precocious juvenile EVERY ROSE, winner of the G3 Gimcrack Stakes.
Brooke’s Edge is a 3yo filly by the late HINCHINBROOK, a top class juvenile winning the G3 AJC Skyline Stakes and Listed Canonbury Stakes. Hinchinbrook later placed in the GI AJC Sires Produce Stakes, AJC All Aged Stakes, MRC Oakleigh Plate and MVRC William Reid Stakes. Sire of impressive mares SPRIGHT, SEABROOK and WHISPERING BROOK.
She is out of the winning SHOW A HEART mare, COUREDGE, and is from the family of G2 Matriach Stakes winner VINTEDGE and G2 CF Orr Stakes winner RACER’S EDGE.
This filly’s half-sister, EVERY ROSE, followed up her Gimcrack Stakes win with two 2nd placings in both the Magic Millions Wyong 2yo Classic and the BJ McLachlan, behind FARNAN and KING’S LEGACY respectively.
Returning later as a 3yo, EVERY ROSE won the G2 Light Fingers and ran a game 5th in the G1 Surround Stakes.
Brooke’s Edge is also the half-sister to multiple city winners SMARTEDGE and ACADEMY.
Her ownership group have made the decision to capitalise on this filly’s pedigree and put her to market just in time for the breeding season.
