Description
3yo filly by Australia's current Champion sire Written Tycoon out of a Group 3 winner and dam of a Group 3 performer, Fine Bubbles.
After breaking her maiden at her very first start over 1100m at Caulfield in July this year, Libiamo was then backed up to run a very credible 5th in the Group 3 Quezette Stakes, less than 2 lengths behind the winner. Her third and most recent start was on the 4th of September in the Listed Atlantic Jewel over 1200m at Moonee Valley. During the run she copped substantial interference which knocked her about and unfortunately post race was found to have bled.
As such her owners have elected to retire her from racing and offer her as a breeding proposition.
On type she is lovely big horse which is evident in her yearling sale purchase price of $170,000.
