Description
Here is an offering of the rarest variety. How often does the opportunity come around to buy a half sister to a Champion racehorse, in foal to the recently crowned Champion Sire.
The horse in question is Miss Hawaii. She is a daughter of a sire that has produced a Golden Slipper winner, a race in which he also placed himself, being Manhattan Rain. She has been measured at 16.1hh and a physically she is a very attractive and well put together type.
Miss Hawaii is out of the Group 2 Silver Slipper runner up Marrego, who is by renowned broodmare sire Marscay. Marrego has had 6 winners from 7 runners, two of which are Group winners and one a winner at Listed company.
The most notable being;
EREMEIN – 12 wins, 5 of which came at Group 1 level in the form of a Queen Elizabeth, Australian Derby, BMW Stakes, Rosehill Guineas and Ranvet Stakes.
He was Joint top male on The 2005-2006 Australasian 4YO+ Classifications.
Her other siblings include PEACE FORCE – Group 3 winner and three time Group 3 placegetter, with 7 wins in total and more than $460,000 in prizemoney earned. As well as GLIDING Listed winner of the MRC Ethereal Stakes and 4th in the Group 2 VRC Wakeful Stakes.
At the 2021 Inglis Easter yearling sale a colt by Exceed And Excel out of PEACE FORCE sold for $2.1mil to Tony Fung Investments. This is a very current and progressive family with huge upside.
Miss Hawaii is presented for sale carrying a positive pregnancy test to the current overall Australian Champion sire WRITTEN TYCOON.
During the 2021 yearling sale season 76 of his progeny were sold with 10 (13%) of them selling for more than $600k. 3 of which realised price tags greater than $1mil with his top individual price being $1.2mil.
WRITTEN TYCOON covered his 2020 season at an advertised service fee of $77,000, in 2021, on the back of the season he had with his progeny on the track, his service fee has been set at more than double.
Miss Hawaii’s 2019 colt by Starspangledbanner has been retained to race because of a paddock accident, he has been showing plenty of potential in his work and will be heading to the trials in approx. 4-6 weeks. Her 2020 filly by Pierro is also being retained by the breeder to race and to keep a representative of this great female family.
