**ON THE MARKET**
A $155,000 Classic yearling and $160,000 Ready2Race graduate, Otelo is an attractive 3YO son of Shalaa from a Street Boss mare.
He's had 10 starts for 4 placings at Metro and Provincial level, and has been very consistent with a further two 4th's in town.
Otelo has been unlucky on a few occasions and has been close behind the likes of MR. MOZART - who won the Listed Exford Plate at Flemington earlier this month - as well as the talented, Stakes placed 3YO ATHELRIC.
He produced a closing 4th two starts back on the Randwick-Kensington track on September 15 (1400m).
He than ran a solid 3rd on Saturday.
Otelo remains a maiden and owners have run out of patience as they like to concentrate on Saturday Metro Racing.
He's a gelding with plenty of upside and would certainly be competitive at provincial level.
He's from the first Southern Hemisphere crop of Shalaa, sire of Shaquero, Nice for What, Tayla's Moment and Hunnam.
Otelo's female family tends to improve from their 3YO year.
