Description
COLLIER BAY is a correct filly standing 15.3 ,very well bred from a highly commercial family , out of a Group 3 winner and a half sister to three stakes horses. Herself a 150k yearling, two of her three half-sisters sold as yearlings for 340k and 330k and being bred to commercial stallions so the family will only keep getting better.
She shows plenty of potential on the track and is ready to go back into training having missed this season (see Breeding Certificate), from only 8 starts she was beaten 1.65 lengths in the MAX LEES CLASSIC at Newcastle at her first start, followed up at her third start finishing 5th at black type level in the INGLIS NURSERY RL, freshened to win a trial at Randwick before running third at Warwick Farm beaten 2.2 lengths to subsequent Group 3 GLOAMING STAKES winner HEAD OF STATE, she has been placed at two of her last three starts.
