Description
Poetic Harmony hails from a fabulous international pedigree and is herself a two-time winner. The emergence of star European colt ADAYAR saw her travel to the United Kingdom for her first covering.
She is in foal to World Champion racehorse and now Champion sire FRANKEL on one cover. The resultant foal will be a very close relation to the 2021 Epsom Derby (Gr.1) and King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Gr.1) winner - ADAYAR. That notable double was the first time any horse had achieved the feat since the incomparable GALILEO (himself sire of Frankel) back in 2001.
After breaking his maiden by 9 lengths at 2, Adayar returned as a three-year-old to win Europe's premier classic at Epsom Downs (defeating Gr.1 winners Hurricane Lane, Mac Swiney, Bolshoi Ballet and Gear Up) and then followed up against older horses in Europe's mid-summer showpiece at Ascot (defeating $20+ million earning multiple Gr. 1 winning international star Mishriff, dual Classic winner Love and Gr.1 winner Broome). His Timeform rating of 131 makes him one of the highest-rated 3YO colts in Europe of the last decade.
Adayar remains in training for the 2022 season.
Frankel is the sire of 30 Southern Hemisphere bred winners, 6 of whom are Stakes winners, including the G1 winning pair Hungry Heart and Converge. He is running at over 14% Stakes winners/runners with his Southern Hemisphere bred progeny. His Southern Hemisphere bred yearlings have sold for up to $1,600,000 and average in excess of $480,000.
Poetic Harmony has been at Hazelwood Stud, Newmarket since her UK arrival.

"Approximately 16.1hh. Attractive refined mare who stands up a good type with a nice head and eye. She has an adequate action though is a little base narrow and close of her hocks. Her knees are slightly offset and she has an old small splint below her near fore knee. Overall an attractive quality mare with a good outlook and demeanour who has no reported stable vices".
