Description
Nicola is a half-sister to recent G2 Expressway Stakes winner Overpass and she is offered in foal carrying a 3/4 relative to him.
3YO Overpass has amassed nearly $900,000 in prize money to date, including a win in both the $750,000 Inglis Sprint at Flemington and the G2 Expressway Stakes at Randwick - both over 1200m - defeating the likes of 3xG1 winners Forbidden Love and Anamoe, as well as Stakes winners Belluci Babe, Standout, Tiger Of Malay, Sneaky Five etc.
Arguably Overpass has huge upside as a 4YO having been beaten less than 1.5L in the G1 Galaxy at Rosehill and 5th of 11 in the G1 TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick this Autumn behind the best sprinters in Australia including Nature Strip, Eduardo, Paulele etc.
Nicola is a typical Charge Forward mare, she is a strong and correct mare. The mating to Vancouver should suit her well.
