Description
A rare opportunity to acquire a half-sister to a living Champion Sire. PARTY JEWEL is a half-sister to Australian Champion Sire WRITTEN TYCOON who has already sired 52 SWs, 12 of whom are Gr1 winners incl. Coolangatta, Capitalist, Ole Kirk, Wriiten Bye, etc. Written Tycoon currently stands at a fee of $165,000, the most expensive stallion in Victoria.
This is a very strong female family which includes Godolphin’s Champion 2YO Microphone (now at stud in NSW and likely to be a leading sire himself), Champion Sprinter Yell (3 Gr1 wins) and dual Gr1 winner Anthems not to mention 1300m Gr1 winner Holler.
This mare was abandoned by her former owner on a remote Queensland cattle farm for 4 years due to them losing interest in breeding. Consequently she is only expecting her 5th foal - due in September - to Snitzel's Group 1-winning son Wild Ruler. She has many foals left in her.
This is the very first mare offered publicly carrying a Wild Ruler foal. Wild Ruler, a stakeswinner at 2, 3 and 4 years, and earner of over $2.5m, won the Gr1 Moir Stakes over 1000m at Moonee Valley clocking 57.08. The other two most recent runnings of this prestigious race have been captured by Written Tycoon progeny Pippie and Coolangatta. This makes the foal PARTY JEWEL is carrying a sheer speed package and sure to be a highly sought after yearling.
PARTY JEWEL’s first named foal – Giant Killing - is currently racing in Singapore/Malaysia and has won twice to date.
This mare is carrying a foal purposely bred on the outstanding nick of Snitzel over mares by sons of Red Ransom which has produced 8 stakes horses from just 26 runners (31% Stakes horse/runners) to date. Amazingly 4 of these 8 stakes horses are Group 1 performers including Gr1 winners Trapeze Artist, Golden Slipper winner Estijaab and Thousand Guineas heroine Yearning.
