TENDER is a three-time winning and stakes placed mare who has had great results in the sales ring with her SO YOU THINK making $300,000 and her PIERRO realising $650,000. Her stunning DUNDEEL colt sold this year to Northern Farm at the Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale for an incredible $500,000 which is a testament to the beautiful types she throws.
An attractive mare herself, she would make a wonderful addition to any broodmare band being in foal to the quality Coolmore Stud first season sire ST MARK’S BASILICA. ST MARK’S BASILICA was a superior racehorse being crowned World Champion 3YO, European Champion 2YO and Cartier Horse of the Year having won an incredible FIVE G1 races. He was in a league of his own, taking out the G1 Dewhurst Stakes, the G1 French 2,000 Guineas, the G1 French Derby, the G1 Eclipse Stakes and the G1 Irish Champion Stakes.
ST MARK’S BASILICA is by the great French stallion SIYOUNI who has made his mark here in Australia being the sire of the brilliant Western Australian G1 winning filly AMELIA’S JEWEL as well as G2 ATC Todman Stakes winner ALMERTON and stakes winners NUGGET, SEE YOU IN SPRING amongst others.
TENDER is a three-time winner and stakes placed herself having placed top four in three stakes races including the G3 SAJC National Stakes. She hails from a brilliant Australian family, with her second dam being KAPCHAT who had six career wins including the G1 STC Winfield Classic and then went on to produce multiple stakes winners such as KAPHERO and PRINCESSA who then went on to become the dam of prominent racehorses STAR OF GISELLE and SOLICIT.
