Moselle Valley offers breeders a unique blend of rich European blacktype blood and colonial racetrack success. She is out of a Saddlers Wells mare and is a full sister to the Gr 1 winner and Gr 1 performer on three different continents, MAWINGO.
Her dam is a half sister to 4 stakes performers and has produced 7 winners including MAWINGO as mentioned above but also MOUNTAHA who is a Gr 3 winner in Germany, Gr 3 placegetter and 4th ina Gr 1. Currently in full work with the No. 1 trainer in France MOUNTAHA impressed with a fantastic performance for a second placing at Listed level on her first up run from a spell.
Gr 1 winners in Australia produced from European-bred mares in the last few years include horses such as Amelia’s Jewel, Colette, Montefilia, Converge, Hungry Heart, Funstar, Levante, Snapdancer.
Moselle Valley is carrying a positive pregnancy to Maurice on a maiden cover. Maurice is another international sensation that has also proven to work in Australia with his progeny in the sales ring and subsequently on the track. Horses such as Gr 1 winners Hitotsu who now stands at stud at Arrowfield and Mazu who has won nearly $7 million in prize money.
