Anders’ talented 2YO Snitzel sister in foal to leading sire Maurice
From 6 starts including three at Group level, Satin Love was a narrow 2nd to subsequent 4-time Group winner See You In Heaven in the 2YO G3 Ottowa Stakes on debut in November.
An $800,000 Magic Millions January yearling to James Harron Bloodstock, she is a three-quarter sister to exciting young sire Anders who served 353 mares in his first two seasons at stud.
Her full brother Battleground ran G2 winner Hightail to a long neck in the Gosford Guineas, defeating stakeswinners Splintex, Exhilarates & Fituese.
Madame Andree has an excellent yearling filly by Snitzel to be offered by Arrowfield in 2024.
Satin Love’s three-quarter sister Madame Pauline has a 2YO Shalaa filly, a Written Tycoon yearling colt and is booked to Dundeel in 2023.
Her other Redoute’s Choice sister Nancy Grace has a 2YO filly and yearling colt by Dundeel. She is in foal to Maurice and is booked to him again in 2023.
Snitzel is the broodmare sire of 23 stakeswinners (8 in the 2022/23 season) including Golden Slipper winner Mossfun & Group winners including Daisies, North Star Lass, Marine One, Cannonball, Pinstriped etc.
Satin Love is in foal on an early cover to leading second and third season sire Maurice who stands for $82,500 inc. GST and is fully booked for the 2023 season.
Maurice is the sire of 16 stakeswinners & 5 G1 winners including Mazu (Doomben Ten Thousand & Everest 3rd) and Hitotsu, 3-time G1 winner standing at Arrowfield in 2023.
Satin Love’s prospective foal will be bred on the Maurice-Redoute’s Choice cross of Hitotsu, G2 winner Bank Maur, 2YO stakeswinners Namesake, Azula etc.

Satin Love is currently settled and under close observation as she approaches her due date of 22/08/23. Should the new owner wish for Satin Love to remain at Arrowfield Stud to foal down we are willing to provide this service. Please note, if the mare remains at Arrowfield Stud post sale agistment costs will apply including a foaling down fee and other veterinary related charges should treatment be required.
Satin Love is being sold to dissolve a partnership.
