Description
Hecate is a young mare by Champion Sire I Am Invincible out of the fast multiple stakes winning mare Wild Rain.
In addition to being Champion Sire, I Am Invincible is an emerging talent as a broodmare sire having sired the likes of Group 1 performer Asfoora and last weekend’s 4 length Moonee Valley 2YO winner Tiz Enuff.
Hecate is from a deep, Australian speed family with black type prolific throughout – including the two time Cox Plate winning Champion Northerly and group winning sprinters Overpass and North Boy. Free from Danehill, Hecate is an excellent outcross for most major Australian sire lines.
Hecate herself was a very attractive yearling, selling for $500,000 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Hecate is currently not in foal so will be ready for an early cover to the sire of your choosing.
