Description
Young, well bred mare, due to foal in a fortnight to Champion sire Russian Revolution.
Russian Revolution stands at Newgate for $88,000 (been booked out for many months). He was CHAMPION 1st & 2nd Season Sire, leading his competitors across the board in Earnings, Winners & Stakes Wins for both seasons. He is the sire of 8 SW's already, including Gr 1 winner Communist, Gr 2 winner Revolutionary Miss etc. His 67 yearlings that were sold at the select sales this year averaged over $167,000, and sold up to $1.1million.
Hit A Provisional was lightly raced, 8 starts - 1:4:0. Won at Belmont in New York and ran close seconds in two US$80,000 turf allowances at Saratoga.
By a wonderful stallion, Northern Afleet. He has sired 76 SW's (13 G1) and is the damsire of 34 SW's (6 G1).
To say she hasn’t had her share of luck at stud is a gross understatement.
In her first season she was in foal on one early cover (4/9/20) and 45 days positive, then she was tested in May for the Broodmare sale and found to be empty.
Second season she missed on one cover (26/9/21) to Shamus Award, then subsequently wasn’t covered again due to firstly the stallion being too busy, and then next cycle he was injured and she couldn't get covered again by him.
Last season she went in foal on one cover to Russian Revolution.
Good looking, big strong mare standing 16.2hh, who possesses a wonderful outcross pedigree.
Being sold with a 50% discount on her foaling fee and agistment rate costs until the foal is 2 weeks of age, should the buyer wish to keep her at Willow Park due to being due soon.
