Promising young 10 year old stallion WINNING RUPERT (Written Tycoon) is offered for unreserved sale after his current home, Grandview Stud in Queensland, has been sold and the new owners have no aspirations to stand stallions.

This offers a unique opportunity for bloodstock investors and stud farms with stallions or motivation to stand stallions, the opportunity to buy a stallion who is current and commercially relevant with upside to come:

- WINNING RUPERT is coming off a terrifically successful weekend of progeny success with his 4yo daughter SEMANA winning the Group 3 Triscay Stakes at Randwick for Ciaron Maher, and his 2YO daughter MADHI GIRL flashing home for 2nd place in the Listed MM WA 2YO Classic for Simon Miller. Note: SEMANA is currently favourite with TAB for the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (16 March).

- WINNING RUPERT has covered 694 mares at an average of nearly 100 mares per season through his first seven seasons at stud

- WINNING RUPERT has the progeny of 214 mares covered in his last three seasons coming through the pipeline (yearlings, foals and in utero)

WINNING RUPERT was an exceptional sprinter whose career was cut short by injury at just his sixth start. WINNING RUPERT is liver chestnut, stands 15.3hh and is powerfully built, atypical of an Aussie sprinter. He has good bone and bone, with a great action to him.
