Description
This colt will run early for you! He’s a typical Safeguard with a great shoulder and powerful hindquarters. He’s correct with a good athletic walk and will grow out into a good looking yearling. Approx.13.3hh and 324kg.
Safeguard continues to do an amazing effort at stud from limited opportunities. Overall, he has had 111 runners for 75 winners (67.6% winners to runners) and 10 stakes performers (9% performers to runners and 13.3% stakes performers to winners!!) His progeny has won from 1000m to 1600m on all types of going and train on as three and four year olds.
This colt is the first foal of the Scissor Kick mare, Moets Secret who provides access to a wonderful international black type pedigree full of Gr1 winners.
The dam of Moet’s Secret (Modave by Montjeu) is a sister to SHARVASTI, half-sister to BHANDARA, SHASTRI, Kumari (dam of SEMARI). The black type runs deep through the family!!
While Moet’s Secret only raced on one occasion, she is the half-sister to multiple Group winner and Group One placed ERIC THE EEL - TOURBILLON DIAMOND (HK) as well as Perfect Match (8 time winner in HK) and the very smart 2yo, Schiffer.
