Gingerbread Man continues to punch above his weight and the popularity of his progeny at yearling sale time remains solid. Gingerbread Man yearlings averaged $62,500 (over 12 times his service fee) in Book 1 of the 2024 Perth Magic millions Yearling Sale selling up to $110k.
Dee Keepa (NZ) herself was a winner of 4 races and over $100k in earnings. It’s fair to say Dee Keepa has clocked up some frequent flyer miles winning races in New Zealand, before winning two in Victoria (including being a Melbourne metro winner), followed by a further metropolitan win in Perth. A daughter of Keeper (the same sire of 322 winners to date), who in turn is a son of Danehill, Dee Keepa has some breed shaping blood running through her veins.
Dee Keepa produced her first foal in 2024, a bay / brown colt by Gingerbread Man. He is strong first foal, with good bone and frame, and an easy temperament. He would prep up nicely for sale for his new owner/s, or grow out to race for the owner/trainer.
