Updated Breeding Certificate Vet ReportDescription
An Outstanding Filly with Unfulfilled Promise
“I’ve had some good ones and trust me, this girl was right up there in the top bracket. She was a special racehorse who had so much ahead of her on the track but instead, it’s now time for her to become a mum and she’ll be one heck of a broodmare, mark my words” – Peter Moody, Co-Trainer
At her end of 3YO season Autumn Angel rated higher by Timeform than the likes of Joliestar, Espiona, Sunshine In Paris, Orchestral, Colette, Probabeel, Shout The Bar, Dame Giselle etc. at the same stage of their respective careers
Career – 11 Starts, 4 Wins, 5 placings – Earnings - $1,188,040
Racing Highlights:
1st G1 Australian Oaks, 2400m, Randwick, defeating dual G1 winner Orchestral, G1 VRC Oaks winner Zardozi, G1 winner Quintessa, 3 x G1 placed Tutta La Vita etc.
1st G2 Kewney Stakes, 1600m, Flemington, defeating Serasana, Sassy Boom, Grinzinger Belle, Mollynickers, French Endeavour, So Glamorous etc.
“That was amazing. Last start didn't go to plan at all… she’s really something special. There are good things in store for this girl." – Katherine Coleman, Co-Trainer
1st G3 Ethereal Stakes, 2000m, Caulfield, defeating dual G1 winner Tropical Squall, subsequent G1 SA Derby winner Coco Sun, plus Konasana, Grinzinger Belle, Wings Of Song, Dolphin Skin etc.
A filly with an electric turn of foot - when running second in the G3 Rough Habit Plate at Eagle Farm she ran the 3rd fastest last 200m of the day, faster than Stefi Magnetica, Espiona, I Wish I Win, Chain Of Lightning and Mazu on the same day.
On debut as a 2YO, she ran second over 1200m beaten 1.3 lengths by subsequent Stakes winner Legacies.
At her second start she won her maiden over 1300m at Sandown defeating subsequent Stakes winner Served Cold.
Oaks winners have a terrific record at stud, in particular Australian Oaks winners, examples of ATC Oaks winners producing G1 winners include: Rising Romance -> Yearning, Dizelle -> Pinot, Sunday Joy -> More Joyous, Republic Lass -> The Conglomerate etc.
