A RARE OPPORTUNITY.
Our Belisa the dam of NORTH ENGLAND is being offered for sale on an early SEPTEMBER pregnancy to STAY INSIDE, the Golden Slipper winning son of Australia's most statistically elite stallion EXTREME CHOICE. This mare offers a huge amount of upside, for both commercial and breed to race operations.
Her son NORTH ENGLAND has stakes earnings of $826,600 and was a pre-eminent 2YO, winning the $1M Group 3 Golden Gift. His outstanding 3YO performances included second in the Group 2 Todman Stakes, 6th in the Group 1 Golden Slipper and winning the Group 3 Widden Kindergarten Stakes.
Our Belisa is carrying a close relation to NORTH ENGLAND, by the most well supported young stallion to stand at Newgate, STAY INSIDE, who covered a full book again in 2024. Stay Inside yearlings sold to $1M at the 2025 Magic Millions and to $650,000 at the Inglis Easter sale. Stay Inside provides the purchaser enormous potential for an upswing, given his heavy support throughout his stud career to date.
Our Belisa is carrying only her third fourth foal, and has a long and prosperous career as a brood mare in front of her. Her sire Lope De Vega is currently operating 5.06% SW/R as a broodmare sire with his daughters being relatively young at stud. In Australia, yearlings out of Lope De Vega mares have made huge impact in the sales ring, having sold up to $650,000.
